STUDENT PERSPECTIVES:

“A student told me her vote didn't matter, and I told her the truth. Municipal elections are where democracy puts on work boots,” said UTSA organizer Adrain Lara. “The so-called sleeping giant isn't waiting to be saved. It's been here in San Antonio, waiting for us to remember that we are the ones who build the city."

“The Party At The Polls worked very well,” said UH organizer Ella Taylor. “It really got people's attention as we were able to talk about voting and give out lots of voting guides from the League of Women Voters."

“Our Party At The Polls was a success," said ACC Organizer Shaina Kambo. "We enjoyed authentic Mexican street tacos and celebrated with an amazing local band, Minor Mishap, that paraded with us. On the way, we stopped by the skatepark and had a small dance party with skaters and other locals.”

 Stay tuned for Election Day!
